Fr. Lovett: I was raised in Brownsville, TX, spent four years in the Navy in Japan, met my wife in college (SHSU), spent a large portion of my college years as a card-carrying agnostic with tendancies toward gnosticism (quite confusing at times), got a degree in philosophy, and became a Lutheran pastor through Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN. Now I serve Concordia Lutheran Church in Hoisington, KS.
